Introduction
Meditation is both an art and a science. Over thousands of years, wise teachers from various traditions have refined these ancient practices. Meditation is about finding inner peace, realizing ourselves, and being free, and each master has given different ways to do it that fit the needs of different seekers.
We look at 500 different ways to meditate taught by 25 spiritual masters in Mastering Meditation: 25 Gurus X 20 Ways. These masters include Swami Chinmayananda, Guru Nanak, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, Srila Prabhupada, Kabir Das, Sri Aurobindo, Osho, Sadhguru, Acharya Prashant, and more. These techniques come from a wide range of spiritual ways, such as Jnana (wisdom), Bhakti (devotion), and Karma (action). They also include more modern methods.
The goal of this blog is to help both new and experienced practitioners by showing them how to use these methods in their everyday lives. If we want to get clear in our minds, keep our emotions in check, or grow spiritually, these teachers' advice is priceless.
I hope these pages help us discover the meditation style that resonates with us. To really be a master, we don't need to know a lot of skills. What we need is to really get into the one that feels right to us.
Let's start.
